Joining The Deaf Community at Philbrook

Philbrook has special memories for Ken and myself. We dated on the grounds back in the fifties.  We took Sommer and Dan's engagement photos in the gardens when they were still in college.
So when Philbrook provided a free guided tour of their Egyptian display for the Deaf community and friends, Ken and I decided to go.
It is a small educational and interesting display. Along with the mummies, there were snacks and drinks on this very hot summer day. (Our car registered 108.)  Ken took his walker for better comfort. And as we were leaving, we decided to purchase a membership in order to return several more times.   With a membership to both Philbrook, Gilcrease and the Tulsa  Zoo, we are becoming cultured in our senior years!Posted by Picasa
